All's Well That Ends...
Hello, one and all, and welcome to Onevan Academy. Enrollment is now open for those graced with the genetics of the Onevan-- here, you do not have to fear what evolution has made you, but rather learn to deal with it... along with learning the basics of leading the most normal of lives you'll ever have. Read through the rules of my school, review our history, become aquainted with how things work around here and everything will run smoothly. And remember: how you live with your gift in the future is your choice; what you do and how you live while you're here is mine.

The auditorium was empty, except for a crimson haired girl sitting at a piano in the middle of the stage. Beautiful music filled the auditorium, the keys seemed to playing themselves. The girl sitting at the piano was Lily Walker. She was quietly singing, a song of her own writing. She was a talented one, she had raw natural talent. As the piano slowly died, Lily ended the song on one single quavering note. She sighed and looked around.
As she made sure she was alone, she placed both hands on the keys and began to play a song from Phantom of the Opera. She opened her mouth and began to sing.
"Think of me think of me fondly, when we've said goodbye. Remember me once in a while please promise me you'll try.
When you find that, once again, you long to take your heart back and be free - if you ever find a moment, spare a thought for me
We never said our love was evergreen, or as unchanging as the sea - but if you can still remember stop and think of me . . .
Think of all the things we've shared and seen - don't think about the things which might have been . . .
Think of me, think of me waking, silent and resigned.
Imagine me, trying too hard to put you from my mind.
Recall those days look back on all those times, think of the things we'll never do - there will never be a day, when I won't think of you . ."
Lily held the last note and let it slowly fade as she continued to play piano. Phantom of the Opera was her favorite opera of all times. She'd seen it on Broadway once in her life, and would love to see it again. She continued to play unaware of anything that was going on around her.

Jake was as bored as hell. But hey, that was the story of his life, well, sort of. He had his headphones on and was making his way to the auditorium. He carried his baby on his back, it was beautiful and was red and black. He always kept it shiny and clean, it was about the only thing that kept him alive, well that and you-know-who.
His baby was his guitar. He usually played in his room, but he knew the auditorium had an amplifier and he usually went the to check his sound. Plus Charlie had written a song he wanted to try out. Normally the auditorium was empty, nobody bothered to go there unless there was a club or something going on, but today he got a surprise. He walked in to the room and saw someone playing the piano. Pulling his head headphones off his head he hears the sounds of an opera sort of song. He watches and sees that its Lily.
Lily can sing..? He knew a lot about Lily, but he didn't know she could sing, much less play the piano. So he stands in the back of the room watching waiting until he hears the end and starts clapping.

Lily jumped when she heard clapping. She turned around on the piano bench to see Jake. She blushed and wished she had the power to make herself invisible. She stood up and took a bow, wondering what he was doing here. The auditorium was usually empty, unless their was some sort of club using it. Lily walked towards the edge of the stage and sat down.
"Wasn't expecting you here, you scared me half to death" Lily said as she watched him. She knew alot about Jake, just like he knew alot about her. They were bestfriends for exactly one year now. Lily had mixed feelings for him, she knew he was single but decided not to make a move because it might freak him out. "Betcha you didn't know I could sing like that" she laughed as she used her powers to summon his 'baby' to her just to get him to come closer.

Jake watches her make her way to the front of the stage. "Yea, I have that effect on people" says Jake smiling being as cocky as usual. He feels something tugging on his back, it just happened to be his guitar and it was pulling him towards the stage. "I'm comin, I'm comin" says Jake smiling at Lily, she tended to do that sort of thing. Her and her damn telekinesis. All he could do was kill people. Somehow he found that amusing.
He walks up to the stage and leans on it looking up at his favorite little red head, even if he only knew one. "And no, I didn't even know you could play the piano" he says chuckling. He knew she was full of talents, but even though they were close, he didn't know everything about her, just like she didn't know everything about him.

Lily released the hold she had on his guitar. "Ahh yes, but you weren't coming fast enough" Lily said as she glanced down at the gorgeous figure standing right in front of her. Jake just had to be about her most favorite person in the entire world. She felt things for him she never knew she could feel before. Lily loved being telekinetic, she loved being able to have control over objects. She also had this weird fixation with Jake's power. She thought being able to kill someone would seriously come in handy.
"There are things I can do that you don't know about" She said leaning close to him. "Things like this" she said as she closed her eyes and allowed her lips to touch his in the perfect kiss. She knew she was going out on a limb here, and that he might get totally freaked out and hate her for the rest of her life. After a couple seconds Lily pulled away and licked her lips. "Shit" she thought to herself, she didn't even have time to think about what she was about to do, it just sorta happened. "Jake, I'm..I'm so sorry" she stammered.

Jake was a guy who was always prepared for what life threw at him. He had been through some major crap in his life, but he made it through. Though little did he know that this would be the first time in his life where he wasn't ready for something. And that something was a kiss from the little redhead miss Lily Walker. Eyes wide she kisses him for a moment and backs off. He had a look on his face that read 'what just happened?'
He looked at Lily who apologized. "Don't apologize" he says sighing. He rubs the back of his neck trying to figure out what to say. He didn't really feel that way about her, but he didn't want to hurt her feelings either. He really liked her, but right now all his emotion went out to Charlie and had been even when he first met Lily. He supposed he should tell her but he and Charlie weren't really a couple, then Lily would realize what Charlie was doing to Garret and it would be one big fiasco, and he really didn't want to drag Lily into all that.

Lily couldn't grasp what had just happened. She sat for a second looking at him. She wanted to say she was sorry a million times.. she didn't know what else to say. She knew she freaked him out, she knew she did. She stood up and walked away from him. She walked towards the back of the stage, then turned around. She looked at him, for the first time in her life she couldn't read him. She had a feeling that he didn't feel for her in that way.
"I don't know what else to say. It just happened, I.. I couldn't control myself" she said almost pleading with him to believe her. Deep down in her heart she had been longing to kiss him ever since they met, and now that she'd done it, she wish she hadn't. She swallowed and pushed that crushed feeling deep down inside, the last thing she wanted was for her bestfriend to see her cry.
